Up in the Air

As you may have noticed, I hibernate in the winter. I hate cold and I look for any excuse to stay home. However! I will be blogging live from (hopefully) sunny Florida in a couple weeks, where I will be participating in the Walt Disney World Half Marathon! In the meantime, here's an article from the St Louis Post-Dispatch about the locations used for the new movie Up in the Air, which filmed here last year. I could do this myself, but why leave my warm house when Joe Williams already did it for me?

Clooney Was Here

So has anyone seen the movie yet? What did you think?

  1. I finally saw it last week or so. It was pretty good! And cool to see all the places I recognized. George Clooney's character tries to extol the architectural virtues of Saint Louis Lambert International Airport (a potential/easy CC&G target of interest?) on a young colleague of his who could not care less at one point; you would probably get a kick out of it (I did). Performances all around were solid. Some of my friends worked on the movie (one of my friends was Jason Reitman's personal assistant!).

  2. I meant to do some Lambert photos when I got back from Disney World, but my camera battery was dead! Next time I'll take pictures on the way OUT of town.
