Fiber Arts Meet Ups

If you're a long time follower of the blog, you may remember that many moons ago, I was the first person to create a map and list of all the Fish Fries in the St Louis area. Eventually the news stations picked up the idea, and I let it go because it's a mind-numbing amount of work, perfectly suited to an intern. 

Today I started making a list of all the Fiber Arts meet ups in St Louis and I quickly realized it was turning into the Fish Fry list. I'm currently reading the book I'm Beginning to Worry About This Black Box of Doom by Jason Pargin, and I'm trying to do something about getting away from the prison made of nightmares that is the internet (more specifically, the bad news fire hose of social media and main stream media). We need to make more time for face to face social interactions, and I'm putting this out there to hold myself accountable. 

I can't promise I will be at every single one of these, but for the most part, they don't conflict with any of my kid's sports lessons. I'd love to meet up with people who also know they need to put down the screens and build community in person!
