The Triumphant Return!

Howdy, strangers! It's the 10 years anniversary of me thinking that I would "learn WordPress" and have a "professional blog". Turns out WordPress sucks all the joy out of everything!  We've tried a lot of different writing projects and all the social medias in the past 10 years, and nothing has been as satisfying as CC&G on Blogger. All the kids today are on Neocities, so why not reboot blogging?

Wondering what we've been up to the last 10 years? Well, we have a kid who is almost 10! We're about to buy a minivan to replace the stinky old hatchback no one wanted to road trip in, and we have recently discovered we can get the kid to go anywhere if we let her play Pokémon Go.

A father and daughter stand on a wooden dock at Carondelet Park in St Louis, backs to the camera, looking at an unseen mobile device. The lake has a fountain in the center. Trees surround the lake, creating a green backdrop under a cloudy blue sky. The father is wearing a red shirt, grey shorts, and a baseball cap. The daughter has long, dark hair and is wearing purple pants with a patterned shirt. Back view.

Today we stopped at Fortel's Pizza Den, and the Reuben pizza  reminded us of the old days of Happy Joe's BLT pizza, and all the weird shit we ate in the name of a blog (the original doing it for the 'gram). The Reuben Pizza is just like the BLT pizza in the sense that the memory will make your mouth water and your stomach hurt, and I think it would be perfect with half as much sauce. Also now that we're in our 40s, all the adventurous eating requires Tums.

Remember back in the day when CC&G was invited to be part of Niantic Field Trip? Can you believe that turned into Ingress and Pokémon Go? Talk about life coming full circle! We can't wait to hit the road again this summer!
